John Griffin's office took a direct hit in the hurricane. The roof collapsed,
and the office was destroyed, thus this base will not come back up.

We need to replace the receiver and we haven't been able to make the necessary
road trip to do so. I just found out that the profiler program has to send a
Weather Service Tech out to the site, and we should be able to get them to
troubleshoot and hopefully fix the problem for us in the not too distant future.

Oklahoma CORS
Due to weather, power is out at various loctions across the State of Oklahoma.
The power companies say 7-10 days for complete recovery. Add to this the
forecast for more rain, sleet and freezing rain for the next few days, in short,
data download for ODOT CORS will be spotty at best. I will be checking sites
daily and will update you when they become reliable.  So for now, any data
received from ODOT CORS should be veiwed as the exception, not the rule.
Steve 'iceman' Telford

North Carolina Geodetic Survey (NCGS) sites
We are experiencing difficulties downloading data from NCGS to Silver Spring.
However, we are able to download the data to our secondary server in Boulder.
From there we will pull the data and make it available here in Silver Spring so
OPUS and User Friendly CORS can have direct access to it. This will be the
method until Monday Dec. 17, 2007

You can access our Boulder server directly at...
ftp://alt.ngs.noaa.gov/cors/rinex

AZGB - Globe, AZ
We will be doing some planned maintenance on the FTP and GPS servers on 17Dec07 during normal working hours.
The GPS server will have service packs installed coupled with server reboot resulting in loss of 1 hour of data.
The FTP server will be updated to a new version that may take a portion of the day.

Florida DOT CORS and UFCORS - Oct 12, 2007
Ongoing failures by UFCORS to provide data from sites from the FLDOT CORS
has been resolved. The issue revolved around compatability of user software
RINEX 2.10 and RINEX 2.11 and C2 observables. Previous data for the last 30
days will be corrected tonight, earlier data will require a delay of about
1 week. Sorry not to have been able to resolve this problem sooner. G. Sella.

Ohio DOT CORS System Notice - Oct 7, 2007
The Ohio CORS servers and ftp site will be off-line on Sunday, October 7, 2007
from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The State of Ohio Computing Center (where our servers
are located) will be upgrading UPS capacity and all power to the building will
be shutdown for most of the day. The Ohio GPS receivers will still be
collecting and storing data internally and will upload to the ftp directory
when the servers are brought back on-line.

DP3A - Naperville, IL - Oct 03, 2007
The Naperville IL. base station In DuPage County is going to be down for
repairs. We plan on replacing the older 500 series unit with a new 1200 series.

LVWD - Las Vegas, NV - Sep 28, 2007
This site will be decommissioned as of Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 due to proposed
construction on the existing building, which will compromise the antenna mount.
Please note, this will not take effect until Friday, Sept. 28, 2007.

Coop CORS members required to update station log files.

For many years the Cooperative CORS sites had little restrictions as to the style of their log files. We are now urging those members to follow the guidelines set forth by the International GPS Service ( IGS ). These guidelines were established in order to retrieve the necessary metadata easily and without error. For more information on creating the proper file see Appendix 2 of the CORS Guidelines.
